What makes a great country town? A charming main street is definitely one of them and Boonah’s ‘High Street’ ticks all the boxes! High Street is full of country charm, featuring great cafes, cute gift shops, friendly smiles and a steampunk town clock! All only 20mins from Ketchup’s!

Don’t be fooled though. A lot of visitors drive through Boonah and think the main street is Hoppy’s Fruit Shop, Mitre 10 and a Celebrations. By all means you COULD spend a morning at Mitre 10, but if you head one block over, that is where you will find all the treasures!

Not the main street!

There is honestly so much to choose from in High Street. You could wander up and down browsing all the options and finding all sorts of hidden gems, but here is our High Street Top 5 🖐️

1. Sit down for a delicious brekky or brunch at the new Revival Café, Boonah. There is a great modern vibe with stylish decor and excellent food! Personally I don’t think you can go past a good Eggs Benny, but everything on the menu is scrumptious!

2. Hummingbirds Natural Pantry and Cafe is another gem tucked away at the bottom end of town. They specialise in natural whole foods. Vegan ✔️Gluten Free ✔️ Dairy Free ✔️ And it is all 10/10 yum! They have absolutely delicious bagles and their zoodle dish is a winner too! And it gets better because Hummingbirds is not just a cafe, it’s a ‘pantry’ too! You can fill up a paper bag or jar of granola, dried fruit and all sorts of other whole foods to take home with you.

3. The Story Tree is your spot if you’re after the perfect cup of coffee and a cozy nook. As soon as you walk in you will feel so welcome and they have delicious savory and sweet treats as well as a great selection of eclectic gifts too!

4. If you’ve got time left for some shopping (of course you do) make sure you checkout Duck Junction, Little High Street and Boonah Blossoms & More

5. Before you go, make sure you wander over to the Steampunk Town Clock. You won’t find another one like it!
