Queen Mary Falls
Only 1 hour drive from Ketchup’s Bank Glamping is Queen Mary Falls which plunges 40m to the forest floor. The mountain drive, walks and the falls are spectacular.
Horizon Guides – Scenic Rim Walk Series
2012 will be the fifth walking season for Horizon Guides. A series of bushwalks will be on offer to anyone with an urge to get out and experience the magnificent Scenic Rim region – and a little beyond. Groups are small and walks are spaced out to allow time for recovery (and training!) for the next walk. You can do as many or few walks as you wish. Continue the ‘back to nature experience’ in a luxury eco-tent at night, relax in ‘glamping’ style after a hard days hiking.
Mt Joyce Recreation Park – Wyaralong Dam
Ketchup’s Bank Glamping is one of the closest luxury accommodation options to the Mt Joyce Recreation Park. Bike, hiking and horse riding trails added to the other low impact water sports makes Wyaralong Dam an exiting new place to visit. Bike riders have been staying at Ketchup’s Bank Glamping and driving 20 minutes to the Mt Joyce Recreation Park Western Trail Head. Accommodation around Wyaralong is currently limited to ‘roughing it’ in a tent on the ground. Try glamorous camping – glamping, with your own deck, ensuite and campfire.
Ketchup’s Bank Glamping and surrounding area provide some of the best country mountain road walking you will ever find with spectacular mountain views and sunsets. Ketchup’s Bank Glamping also has many bush walking locations. The region boasts many national parks all of which have a variety of walking tracks to suit all levels of experience. http://www.visitscenicrim.com.au/in-the-beginning/world-heritage-listed-national-parks/
