What a perfect setting for putting the final plans into place for our trip around Australia. We had the most perfect weather with warm days and cold nights. A fantastic experience all round. We are sitting here writing while munching on some damper, fresh out of the camp oven. YUM! We had every intention of visiting the local sights, sampling the wineries etc but found we couldn’t drag ourselves any further away than the swing by the dam. An amazing experience! Sitting by the fire with the wallabies and possums and waking up to the breathtaking view while in the comfort of the 5 star “tent” – this was a truly magnificent getaway!
I have never been camping in my life but if this is camping then I’m hooked. One of our “best ever” weekends away. Might become a permanent Birthday thing. Loved the whole experience.
Well, it rained, but guess what? The fire still did it’s magic!! Food was great. Bed, tent, ensuite left nothing to be desired!! We loved feeding the fish and talking to the wallabies.
Our second visit and it won’t be our last! Everything is perfect and our hosts could not do enough for us. We love it here.

What a beautiful place and experience. Our only regret is we were only here for one night and one short morning. What a beautiful view to wake up to and we loved seeing the king parrots, lorikeets, bettongs, wallabies (incl. joeys!). We also had perfect weather. So peaceful out here – we don’t want to go back to reality. The ‘tents’ are also great – loved having our own ensuite and fireplace and no dishes to do. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We absolutely love it here! ‘Glamping’ is a new experience for us – it’s great to combine being in the great outdoors with all the luxuries of being in a hotel. The views are spectacular and the perfect backdrop to a romantic breakfast. The stay was very relaxing. Really enjoyed watching the wallabies in the evening. The Scenic Rim is a ‘magic’ area. The highlights were visiting Queen Mary Falls and the ‘Rose Garden’ at Kalbar (particularly the Devonshire teas). We wish your venture every success.
