Q: Do you offer gift vouchers?
A: Yes of course! Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can include accommodation and hampers! Just send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you put together your special gift.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Sorry, no pets are allowed. Our wallabies and many other native animals and birds are not comfortable with unfamiliar domestic pets.
Q: Can we have a campfire when ever we like?
A: Wood is provided for you to light a campfire at your convenience in your designated fire place. In the rare event that a total fire ban is inplace for the region, for your safety, no open fires will be permitted.
Q: Is there a restaurant at Ketchups Bank Glamping?
A: Food hampers are available as an option at Ketchup’s Bank Glamping. Each Eco-tent has a four burner BBQ with a side burner for you to cook up a storm with your own food or one of our gourmet bbq hampers also available as an option. You might also like to try some good old fashioned Australian campfire cooking on your very own campfire – we supply a cast iron camp oven so bring along the ingredients for a slow cook casserole or other camp oven favourites like damper and baked potatoes.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: Smoking is permitted in your campfire area provided there are no total fire bans in place, ashtrays are provided. No smoking is permitted anywhere else on the property including inside your Eco-tent or on the balcony.
Q: Are there private garden areas?
A: Ketchup’s Bank Glamping is set on 100 acres of natural eucalypt forest, all Eco-tents are designed to incorporate individual lawn areas allowing you to enjoy the natural bushland and wallabies which may happen to graze in grass areas outside your tents.
Q: Are there barbecue facilities?
A: All Eco-tents have a private outdoor kitchen/dining area complete with BBQ’s and campfire.
Q: How far away are the national parks?
A: There are many parks in the Scenic Rim and surrounding areas. Some are 15 minutes away others are around 45 minutes drive. Ketchup’s Bank Glamping has 100acres of natural bushland filled with rare and uncommon native flora and fauna and is well worth investigating. Make sure you bring a good pair of hiking boots.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Payments can be made securely online at the time of booking using credit card or direct transfer or at reception (for last minute bookings) by cash, debit or credit. We accept most major cards.
Q: Is Ketchup’s Bank Glamping suitable for families?
A: Each Eco-tent is designed for a couple sharing with a very comfortable plush pillow top queen ensemble. A maximum of 2 adults is permitted per tent. Ketchup’s Bank is not suitable for children or babies.
Q: Is there a CD player in the Eco-tent?
A: Yes, each Eco-tent has an LED flat screen TV/DVD player which can also play CDs. There is also a Bluetooth music player if you have music stored on your smart phone.
Q: Is there a DVD player in the Eco-tent?
A: Yes, each Eco-tent has an LED flat screen TV/DVD player and a selection of DVDs or bring your favourites from home. The TV is provided for playing DVDs. Due to our location in the valley there is no TV reception at this stage.
Q: Is it possible to connect to internet in my Eco-tent?
A: Free Wifi is provided to you upon check in and is limited to 2 GB per stay. This should be sufficient to look up some of the major attractions around the Scenic Rim and share your experiences with friends and family on social media.
Q: Do you supply a variety of bedding?
A: Our sheets are extra long thread quality cotton. We also supply warm wool filled doona’s and 100% wool blankets.
Q: Is there a selection of pillows available in the Eco-tent?
A: There are several pillows per bed to ensure you have a variety of pillow types for your comfort.
Q: Are there TVs in the Eco-tents?
A: TVs are provided for playing DVDs. Due to our location in the valley there is no TV reception.
Q: Does each Eco-tent have a telephone or mobile phone reception?
A: Mobile phone reception is variable and subject to your phone type and service provider. Most people achieve some form of reception at the tents if they are with country service providers e.g. Telstra. Better reception is achieved in the higher areas of the property. If you need to make an urgent call please talk with your hosts.
Q: Do the Eco-tents have a balcony?
A: Eco-tents are set on raised decks with balconies and wonderful views.
Q: Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast is served?
A: Breakfast hampers are available as an option.
Q: Do you cater for special food needs?
A: Yes, please inform reception upon meal booking if you have special dietary requirements.
Q: Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
A: Of course, please inform reception when booking meals.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Check-in time is from 2pm, however, please contact us to see if early check in is available.
Q: When is the departure time?
A: Check-out from your room is 10am. Late check outs may be available. Please discuss with your hosts the night before departure.
